Sankashti Chaturthi (Ganesha Vrat)-Aug 2 Sankashti Chaturthi is a sacred Hindu fasting day dedicated to Lord Ganesha, the remover of obstacles and the bestower of wisdom, prosperity, and success. It is observed on the Krishna Paksha Chaturthi (fourth day of the waning moon) every month. Devotees observe a day-long fast, offer prayers, chant Ganesha mantras, and break their fast only after sighting the moon and performing the evening puja. According to Hindu tradition, observing Sankashti Chaturt
